Description
The Hawker Hunter entered service in 1954 and soon became the RAF's front-line fighter aircraft.
The F1 was modified quite early on, and later versions were improved and adapted for the ground attack role. The Hunter saw service with 20 countries world-wide.
The early Hunters were armed with 4 x 30mm cannon at first, then rockets, bombs, or missiles bcame available when extra hard-points were added to the wings.
This example is a Hunter F 6 of No 4 Flying Training School RAF 1973.

One of my favourites. Thank you.
Still don't understand why they didn't exploit the two seater 'trainer' version for other more strategic missions.
