Hurricane GB 318 Sqn

The Hawker Hurricane entered service in 1937, and was a Front Line fighter during the Battle of Britain in 1940. It went on to serve all over the world and was improved and adapted for various roles throughout the war.

The Mark 1 was armed with 8 x 7.7mm machine guns. The Mark 2B was armed with 12 x 7.7mm machine guns.

The Mark IIC was armed with 4 x 20mm cannon. The Mark IID was armed with 2 x 40mm cannon in underwing pods.

This example is a Hurricane Mk IIC of 318 (Polish) Squadron RAF 1944.
