The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 entered service with the USSR in 1984, and also saw service with Soviet Bloc, and many other countries around the world.
It was regarded as one of the best fighters around and many new versions and upgrades have been rolled out over the years. The MiG-29 is armed with 1 x 30mm cannon and and a mixture of missiles including AA-8, AA-10, AA-11 and AA-12 on six hardpoints. This example is a MiG-29A of 23 Squadron Iranian Air Force, circa 1991. |
