Thunderfighter 3

The Thunderfighter is the main starfighter used by the Earth Defence Directorate to defend Earth and it’s starships from attack.

The Thunderfighter can fly in space or atmosphere and is capable of reaching escape velocity - around 25,000 mph, and would normally be cruise around 6,100 mph.

There were a few small variations on the design - an extended cabin for passengers, and some aerodynamic devices, but the basic version was sound enough for over 4,000 to be produced.

The Thunderfighter is armed with 8 x laser cannon and can carry 2 x anti-ship missiles externally.
