Not much is known about the Treen Fighter but like most of their ships the technology is more advanced than the ships of Earth’s Interplanet Fleet.
What is known is that the fighter is space and atmosphere capable and each of the four ‘wing pods’ contains an extremely powerful engine and an equally powerful laser cannon.
The Treen are green-skinned aliens that inhabit the northern hemisphere of Venus. The are ruled by the Mekon - an absolute dictator and Earth’s most implacable enemy.
Dan Dare and the Mekon appeared in the Eagle comic from 1950 to 1969. The Eagle was revived in 1982 but with limited success.
